Colleen Repplier joined the joined Triumph Groups’ Board of Directors in August 2019. Ms. Repplier retired in June 2018 as Vice President and General Manager of Johnson Controls (JCI) responsible for a $4.5 billion global portfolio of HVAC businesses with 20,000 employees. She had previously been with Tyco International since 2007, holding the title of President of the fire protection products strategic business unit during that time and joined JCI in 2016 as a result of JCI’s purchase of Tyco. Prior to Tyco, Ms. Repplier held senior leadership positions at The Home Depot from 2005 to 2007. Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

As the Air Force Association’s top executive, General Spencer directs the association’s professional staff. He is responsible for the management and operations of AFA, AFA Veteran Benefits Association, and the Air Force Memorial Foundation. He also holds the position of publisher of Air Force Magazine, the official journal of the Air Force Association, which has approximately 94,000 members. Spencer is also a Board Director for Whirlpool corp.

Retiring as a four-star general, Spencer spent over 40 years in the Air Force. His last assignment was as the Vice Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, Washington, DC. In this capacity, Spencer was the second highest-ranking military member in the Air Force. He presided over the Air Staff and served as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Requirements Oversight Council and Deputy Management Advisory Group. He assisted the Chief of Staff of the Air Force with organizing, training, and equipping 690,000 active-duty, Guard, Reserve, and civilian forces serving in the United States and overseas.

Spencer began his career in the enlisted ranks and rose to become a four-star general. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering technology from Southern Illinois University (SIU), Carbondale. Spencer was commissioned through Officer Training School in 1980 as a distinguished graduate. He has commanded a squadron, group and wing, and he was Vice Commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center. He was also the first Air Force officer to serve as the Assistant Chief of Staff in the White House Military Office. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and then Director of Mission Support at a major command; and held positions within the Air Staff and Secretariat. Mr. Garton was named President and Chief Executive Officer of AMR Eagle Holding Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AMR (AMR Eagle), in June 2010 until 2014. He was tasked with strategic evaluation of American Eagle Airlines and whether there would be a possible divestiture.  The spin-off was cancelled after American Airlines filed for bankruptcy and merged with US Airways.  Prior to this role, Mr. Garton served as Executive Vice President-Marketing of American from September 2002 to June 2010.  He was responsible for American’s Reservations, AA.com, Flight Service, Sales, the AAdvantage® travel awards program, Advertising and Corporate Communications.  In addition, Garton had responsibility for unveiling American’s Gogo® Inflight Wireless Internet service and revolutionizing award travel by introducing the popular “One-Way Flex Awards,” giving AAdvantage members more options when redeeming award travel.  Garton served as Executive Vice President-Customer Services of American from January 2000 to September 2002 and Senior Vice President-Customer Services of American from 1998 to January 2000. Prior to that, he served as president of AMR Eagle from 1995 to 1998.  Except for two years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Continental Airlines between 1993 and 1995, he had served AMR in various management positions since 1984. Gary began his career with Goodrich as an aeronautical engineer, where he conducted research, testing, and development of new de-icing systems for aircraft. He also led the design and construction of the Goodrich Icing Wind Tunnel, and later in his career, as President of Tenison Engineering, designed and built another Icing Wind Tunnel for Cox & Co. in NYC. In 1998 he transitioned to Aeroquip-Vickers, where he led the field sales engineering teams for Aeroquip, which later became the Eaton Aerospace Fluid Conveyance Division, where he grew division revenues by a factor of four over eight years. In 2006, he led the establishment of a “One Eaton” Regional Account Managers team, leading customer relationships and sales for all Eaton Aerospace products including hydraulic power generation, engine driven fuel pumps, and other highly engineered systems solutions. In 2012, he joined Kaman Aerospace as the Vice President of Business Development, leading engineered bearings, structures, and Kaman’s K-Max helicopter business development activities.

Mr. Mansfield also serves as a director of Bemis Company, Inc. and served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Axiall Corporation until August 2016. Mr. Mansfield brings to the Board deep management experience as a former chief executive officer of a significant, publicly-traded manufacturing business with diverse operations spread across the globe as well as a track record of enhancing growth through acquisition. The TP85‐8 Air Drive Unit (ADU), also referred to as a Pneumatic Drive Turbine assembly, provides supplementary hydraulic power for the hydraulic system of an aircraft experiencing high load conditions. The turbine assemblies will also provide emergency hydraulic power should the engine‐driven hydraulic pumps onboard the aircraft fail to operate. The TP85‐8 ADU is driven by bleed air from the aircraft engine and is controlled by a three‐position control switch in the cockpit.

Airframe mounted accessory drives (AMADs) — Every TRIUMPH Geared Solutions accessory drive is built to the highest standards of precision and reliability. The AMAD provides power for the aircraft’s hydraulic pumps, auxiliary fuel pumps and electrical generators. It also provides engine starting capability by transmitting power from auxiliary power units. Our AMADs incorporate carburized and ground gearing and, if the specification requires, AGMA Class 14 standards. Each drive is designed for high power density to minimize weight. Special features such as self-pressurizing lubrication systems assure proper operation at all altitudes within a given flight envelope. The AMADs also contain a disconnect feature which allows ground crews to disconnect the unit for maintenance and performance of electronic and hydraulic systems checks without the engine running.

The Thrust Reverser Cowl Actuator (inboard) is a single-acting actuator used to open the thrust reverser cowl door on the 737 MAX engine nacelle. This Engine Driven Pump is a variable displacement pump which extracts mechanical power from the gearbox accessory pad and converts it into hydraulic power available for use by the various actuators and other consumers on the AH-64 Apache aircraft. The maximum displacement of the pump is 0.182 CIPR and it is capable of providing 6 gpm of flow.

A Plate Fin Heat Exchanger utilizes solid plates to conduct heat from one fluid flow path to heat transfer fins which then transfer heat to a second fluid. The heat transfer fin and plate construction add to the structural integrity of the heat exchanger, enabling it to withstand high pressures.

The EFP-630 or Engine Fuel Pump, is a combined high speed centrifugal main fuel pump and afterburner fuel pump system which delivers both gas generator and afterburner fuel flow. The main fuel pump consists of two centrifugal impellers in series for supplying gas generator flow. The afterburner fuel pump consists of a single centrifugal impeller and modulating throttle valve for supplying afterburner flow.

Engine mounted accessory drives (EMADs) — Our EMADs are manufactured with care and precision, using TRIUMPH Geared Solutions or customer designs to meet the engine manufacturers’ specifications. Low profile casings help minimize engine frontal area and facilitate engine installation. EMADs provide power for fuel pumps, alternators, and lubricant and scavenge pumps. TRIUMPH Geared Solutions contributes to prototype EMAD design and manufacture, such as for the F119 and YF120 engines. Triumph Geared Solutions EMADs have also gone into service on many military and civilian engines.

Fuel flow transmitters measure the flow rate of fuel through the component. As more fuel is flowed, more torque is applied to a turbine assembly. This torque creates distance between two magnetic pick-off’s which in turn creates distance between the electrical signal generated. The electrical signal is interpreted by a computer and a fuel flow rate is calculated.
