Jim McCabe is the Chief Financial Officer of TRIUMPH reporting to President and CEO, Dan Crowley. Jim is based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania and has primary responsibility for managing the company’s finances, risks, planning, reporting, treasury, tax, acquisitions & divestitures, internal audit, and investor relations.
Since joining TRIUMPH in August 2016, Jim has led and supported teams negotiating program contract changes with TRIUMPH's largest customers to improve our business economics and relationships, restructure loan agreements to maintain compliance, improve our capital structure with new debt and equity financing, and find better owners for certain companies of ours to improve TRIUMPH’s financial strength and flexibility.
Before TRIUMPH, Jim was with Steel Partners Holdings (NYSE: SPLP), a diversified industrial holding company where he led its initial public offering, and served as its CFO, President of its shared services group, and CFO of its public affiliates Handy & Harman and Steel Excel. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of American Water’s Northeast Region, and prior to that he was CFO and then President of Teleflex Aerospace, which served the global aviation industry with turbine engine components and cargo systems.
Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Lehigh University. He is a certified public accountant and six sigma green belt and served as a member of the Board of Governors and the Civil Aviation Council Executive Committee for the Aerospace Industries Association.
