What causes are you passionate about?
Supporting women in technical career fields and children in foster care.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I’ve had my picture published in Aviation Weekly and interviewed by the Washington Post during my time at Lockheed Martin building missile defense and weather satellites.
Why did you choose to work in aerospace?
After getting my airframe and powerplant license in 2008, I was recruited by Lockheed Martin – I was the youngest female (22 years old).
What are you most proud of at TRIUMPH?
Building the 1032 Nose Wheel Steering Test Stand – both the stand and the data acquisition system.
What is a valuable lesson you’ve learned at TRIUMPH?
Always be a leader – having an ego will not serve you.
What do you think is the key to success?
Failure – most importantly learning from it. How can you truly know and appreciate success until you’ve known failure?
What do you enjoy most about aerospace?
I’ve worked with and problem solved the most advanced technology in the world during my decade and a half of working in this industry.
What is your favorite memory from your time at TRIUMPH so far?
Not a favorite memory – but a favorite thing is the people that I work with. My coworkers are amazing, I have more fun here than any other job I’ve ever had, and my boss is the best manager. I 100% enjoy coming to work.
