What causes are you passionate about?

I am passionate about education and exposure to the younger generation of our future. I believe that there should be no barriers for anyone that hungers for learning. I feel a sense of reward when I see the light in another’s eyes when they’ve gained a new understanding or skill that was once unknown to them.

What is an interesting fact about you?

There are a couple of things that most don’t know about me. I contribute to tutoring youth in Mathematics. I have also received the Golden State Award for Mathematics for the state of California.

Why did you choose to work in aerospace?

I enjoy being a part of this growing industry. I am also very closely tied with the military and defense industry. These both have begun to work in unison and have shown an increasing market growth.

What are you most proud of at TRIUMPH?

I am very fortunate to work with a company that has values that link up with those of my own. They not only provide importance on customer satisfaction and improvement, but value the needs of their employees as well.

What is a valuable lesson you’ve learned at TRIUMPH?

In my ten years of working with TRIUMPH, I have learned the value of teamwork. In my earlier years I was much more prone to working as an individual. I have grown to see the value of the exchange of a variety of skills we each possess.

What do you think is the key to success?

While I feel there is worth in being consistent, I believe the key to success to be a willingness to take risks for the possibility of a greater reward. We tend to become complacent, but continuous improvement is key.

What do you enjoy most about aerospace?

I’ve found that aerospace has a diverse array of fields and allows me to be flexible in what I am able to learn and contribute to the growth of the company.

What is your favorite memory from your time at TRIUMPH so far?

There have been so many memorable moments while working at TRIUMPH. One of my favorite times was at a Christmas party. It was interesting getting to know everyone outside of their day to day work element. I appreciate the value TRIUMPH puts on team building events as well!
