SOCIAL COMMITMENT

TRIUMPH’s social commitments are key to our greater sustainability efforts. These responsibilities focus both internally – on employee safety, health, wellbeing and engagement – as well as externally to our communities. All of this is grounded in a deep commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity.

Occupational Safety
At TRIUMPH, keeping our employees safe is a top priority and safety is key to our workplace culture. Every employee takes ownership of occupational safety to reduce risks and prevent incidents. Our culture of continuous improvement is founded on our Cardinal Rules of Safety, which guide our employees through frequently encountered situations that may pose risk. We also recognized Safety Heroes to increase safety awareness and promote safe work practices, and continually evaluate our safety efforts using carefully established and evaluated metrics.

TRIUMPH employees have reduced recordable injuries by 24% and days away by 30% over a three-year period.


At the end of fiscal 2021

  • 7 sites had 0 recordable injuries
  • 4 sites achieved over 1 year without an injury
  • 4 sites achieved over 2 years without an injury
  • 1 site achieved over 3 years without an injury

HEALTH & WELL BEING

TRIUMPH’s health and wellness programs help employees understand their current health profile and potential lifestyle risks. We offer resources to help employees achieve optimal health, including programs that address smoking cessation, weight management and a Work/Life Program that offers mental health resources and support.

Some of these include:

  • Short-term problem resolution (stress, depression, anxiety, grief) via Licensed Professional Counselors and referrals to longer-term support
  • Access to work/life specialists who can find support services and resources (eldercare, childcare, relocation, identity theft)
  • Telephone consultations for legal and financial issues
  • Member portal with articles, assessments and webinars
  • Substantial credit towards the cost of all employee medical and dental plans
  • Free annual health screening followed by access to a Wellness Coach who helps individuals understand their health risks and explore options for improvement
  • Free access to wellness workshops, health trackers and wellness challenges. TRIUMPH also provides a monthly wellness credit to recognize healthy behaviors.

Because our team members are the foundation of our success, TRIUMPH places great importance on the growth, development and engagement of our people and fostering an enduring company culture.

  • Our compensation programs motivate our employees, including pay-for-performance annual incentive programs tied to meeting or exceeding company-based performance objectives.
  • In 2021, we introduced the “New Deal” to focus on personal development, flexibility, balance and high-performance teamwork as the driver of business results.
  • To employees reach their full potential, we’ve formalized processes for annual development plans, mid-year reviews and mentoring opportunities.
  • We provide meaningful ways for our employees to support their communities through our Wings Community Outreach Program, Community Engagement & Wings, annual United Way campaign and TRIUMPH Charitable Foundation.
