ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
In all aspects of our business, we strive to respect and positively impact our shared natural environment. We support the reasonable use of energy, water and other resources; conservation; waste reduction; and pollution prevention.
Monitoring: To control and monitor our impact on the environment, we centrally manage environmental oversight across our businesses. This includes an audit program that ensures all sites are audited once every three years. Our corporate Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) function partners with our local site teams to mitigate risks and address concerns identified in these audits.
Reducing Environmental Impacts: Our teams collaborate across our businesses and sites to continuously reduce our environmental impacts. This involves strict management of environmental permitting, energy usage and emissions, water and wastewater impacts, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste. We’re committed to developing and sharing best practices with a continuous improvement mindset across our programs and processes.
Establishment of 2025 and 2030 Sustainability Goals: We have defined clear and specific sustainability goals around our products; employee and community programs; energy usage and emissions; water and wastewater; waste; and governance. For detail, visit our annual report.
Spotlight: TRIUMPH Product Support – Accessory Services, Grand Prairie, Texas, Recognized for Environmental Compliance
- Environmental Compliance Achievement Award: Recognized full compliance with local Environmental Services Department regulations
- 2020 Clean Air Challenge and Environmental Compliance Award: The Grand Prairie team conducted a site-wide educational campaign to promote air pollution awareness and reduce emissions. Employees learned ways to reduce their air emissions and environmental impact – including carpooling to work and signing up for air pollution alerts from Air North Texas.
These achievements by our Grand Prairie team highlight TRIUMPH’s company-wide pledge to engage our teams in operating sustainably and responsibly.
RECENT HIGHLIGHTS:
- More than half of our facilities have proactive environmental programs in place to help drive goal performance.
- 5 facilities are ISO 14001 certified with a goal to reach 100% by 2030.
- Several of our facilities are actively engaging with their communities on environmental topics including air pollution, waste handling and mangrove planting, and establishing best practices.
- One of our international facilities is green building certified.
- Compared to public reports filed by our peers, TRIUMPH ranks better than average on emission, waste and water intensity metrics, as well as emissions, waste generation and water consumption.
